Jacob Bridgeman shot a bogey-free 10-under 61 on Sunday, Sept. 20, to win the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville by two strokes.

It is the second PGA Tour victory of 2026 for the 26-year-old staff player at Carlsbad-headquartered TaylorMade Golf, Golfweek reported. Bridgeman earned $900,000 from the $5 million purse at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Asheville, North Carolina, beating runner-up Ben James.

Bridgeman entered the final round five shots back. He birdied three of his first four holes, then rolled in a 10-foot eagle at the par-5 eighth. He saved par with clutch putts at Nos. 11 and 12 and rattled off three straight birdies starting at No. 13 to finish at 26-under 258.

"I think the putts I made on 11 and 12 are the ones that won me the tournament and were huge saves when I got in trouble," Bridgeman told reporters after the round. "Looking back, I can't believe how many putts I made this week."

The South Carolina native and Clemson alum won his first PGA Tour title at the Genesis Invitational in February at Riviera. He finished tied for fourth in the final FedEx Cup standings with four top-five finishes and six top-10s.

Bridgeman led the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting for the 2026 season, according to TaylorMade's stats page. He gained 8.124 strokes putting at the Biltmore Championship alone.

He became the sixth player with multiple PGA Tour wins this season, PGA Tour Communications said on X. TaylorMade's roster has now accounted for eight victories in 2026, including wins by Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa and Rory McIlroy.

TaylorMade celebrated the win on its official X account, noting Bridgeman gained more than three strokes off the tee using the company's Qi4D driver. He switched to that club earlier this season at the BMW Championship.

The Biltmore Championship was the first PGA Tour event in the Asheville area since 1942. The tournament is part of a four-year deal after Explore Asheville signed a $2.4 million agreement through 2029.

Bridgeman, a captain's pick for the U.S. Presidents Cup team, heads to Medinah No. 3 in Chicago the week of Sept. 27.
