Sage Creek's varsity boys water polo team lost 19-7 at Francis Parker in San Diego on Friday, Sept. 4, dropping the Bobcats to 2-5.

Francis Parker jumped ahead 3-0 in the first quarter, then scored six in the second to take a 9-2 halftime lead, according to MaxPreps. The Bobcats managed one third-quarter goal as the deficit grew to 12-3. Sage Creek scored four goals in the fourth quarter, its best period of the game, but Francis Parker answered with seven to close out the final.

The game was Francis Parker's season opener. The final score was reported to MaxPreps by S. Busby.

Through seven games, Sage Creek has been outscored 100-67. The Bobcats are ranked No. 26 in the CIF San Diego Section and No. 197 in California, per MaxPreps.

Sage Creek travels to Mission Hills in San Marcos on Thursday, Sept. 10, for a 4:30 p.m. non-league game. Mission Hills enters at 1-2.
